Woolzies Dryer Balls Review
Woolzie Dryer Balls are handmade with New Zealand wool. They are designed to soften your laundry naturally without any chemicals that normal fabric softeners use. Woolzies are meant to cut energy use as well as drying time by about 25% per load. They also help to reduce static and wrinkles.
Woolzies are guaranteed to last for at least 1,000 loads
They come in box's of 6.
When using the dryer balls you would use all 6 at one time for small, medium, and large loads. They recommend using 8 balls for extra large loads.
Normal fabric softeners contain chemicals that destroy the fire retardant qualities in children's and adults clothing
If you want extra softness and extra help with static simply take foil and make foil balls about the size of the woolzies.
My review:
After using them for about 2 weeks I have come to love them! Before I started using them I would have to dry my loads of laundry 2-3 times. I thought we would need to pick up a new dryer and with woolzies not only does it save with energy cost but, It saved us the cost of buying a new dryer! Not only did I not have to keep restarting the dryer but im able to stop it half way through the drying time and still have fully dry, wrinkle free clothes! They have cut my laundry time in half! who wouldn't want less time doing laundry and more time to do other things? Also an added bonus is the fact that there is no chemicals in the dryer balls to irritate my sensitive skin!

I did not try the foil trick only because its not something we keep on hand in the house( i'm going to pick some up to try it out) but, The only time I seem to have needed extra help with static was when I was washing Fuzzy blankets.

These sound really interesting, I have never heard of them before. I am thinking we would need to use some foil too as we always have such staticky clothes, especially in winter, even with using dryer sheets. These Woolzie balls are definitely something I need to look into. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteMy mom swears by dryer balls, however, ALL 6 at once? That seems like a lot ~ Victoria@Denschool.com
ReplyDeleteYea i thought the same thing when I got the package but They are ment to bounce around and move your clothes around more so they dry faster. they last a long time though.
DeleteI've never used these before... they sound quite interesting!!
ReplyDeleteThose look pretty neat. Are they scented? I'm obsessed with my clothes smelling good. I hate how the normal dryer sheets always get stuck to my blankets and I can't ever find them.
ReplyDeleteNo they are not scented, but you can add in a couple drops of scented oil to the middle of the balls if you want them to be scented
